Advanced Design Corporation (www.advdesign.com) is seeking a highly motivated individual for a full time position as a Video Producer providing direct support on-site with our Government customer in Arlington, Virginia.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, Instructor based video learning, Classroom videos (both language and non-language oriented), internal FSI announcement videos, external promotional social videos, corporate and government training and other enterprise-wide projects
- Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
- Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
- Collaborate closely with internal clients, non-technical subject matter experts, and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
- Develop production schedules
- Select and hire additional crew and talent; direct and coach talent; make transportation arrangements for crew, talent and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met
- Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice- over/SFX, media management and archiving project media
- Manage video library
- Evaluate analytics
Education:
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Qualification Requirements:
Required
- Professional experience as a producer in radio, television, film, sound or new media in a corporate or government setting – 5 years
- Demonstrated experience in script development, storyboarding techniques, budget creation, allocation of resources, setting of deadlines and selection of optimal forms of media for projects – 5 years
Preferred
o Possession of technical skills in video, audio and post-production including:
o Familiarity with professional, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography.
o Small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
o Digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
